Glagolitic Alphabet
DISCOVER THE GLAGOLITIC ALPHABET
„Glagoljica” is an old Croatian alphabet that originated during 9th century and was still used in 19th century.
During this workshop students will watch a short presentation about the alphabet,- play the Kahoot quiz on what they have learned and play memory games (Glagolitic alphabet) in the library. After that, they get a map of Istria (a peninsula - region where Umag is located) with names of towns written in Glagolitic letters. Students need to decipher names of towns in Latin alphabet.
